Cindy Pietro

Principal

Cindy has 25+ years in the advertising industry. Cindy started as a media assistant in Santa Barbara after graduating from UCSB. She later moved back home to the SF Bay Area to work at J.Walter Thompson. After becoming a senior media buyer, she left to go to TBWA Chiat-Day to become the SF Office Broadcast Supervisor. Then, during the dot.com boom, she parlayed her vast experience and created a media buying department for Arnold Ingalls Moranville, who became Arnold and later MPG. As Associate Media Director at MPG she worked on multiple categories and also in the strategic planning of accounts. As fun and exciting as it was, Cindy enjoys working directly with clients, on a one-on-one basis without all of the red tape found at large agencies. She has a B.A in communications from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She served on the board of Bay Area Star, and acted as Vice President. She currently serves on the Board of the Directors for Valley Montessori School.

Principal

Greta has 25+ years in the advertising industry. She started her career in Radio sales and promotions before transitioning to the agency side as a Media Buyer in Southern California. Greta then moved to Young & Rubicam, in Dallas, where she was the Media Supervisor for the Southwest Region of the US, working exclusively on Lincoln Mercury. The television side of the industry was calling and she made a shift to National Sales, working for TeleRep and then off to sales management for television stations, including National Sales Manager in Denver (KMGH), Local Sales Manager in Atlanta (WGCL) and General Sales Manager, for 4 stations, in Monterey Bay. She has a B.A in Advertising from the University of Oklahoma. Greta’s professional joy and fulfillment come from seeing clients get results and ROI on their advertising investment. Greta serves on the Board of Directors for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Monterey County and is the Board Chair for the Marketing Committee.

Scott Pietro

Principal / C.F.O.

Scott has over 25 years of well-rounded experience in all aspects of marketing, sales, operations, finance, treasury, procurement, human resources, product development, and strategic planning. Scott was a licensed investment banking representative as a member of Ascend Strategic Partners, LLC for the past seven years. During that time he helped advise business owners on M&A transactions including the sale of Creditreport.com (Mighty Net) to Experian for $207.5 million. He is also a founding partner of LegalShore LLC, a successful SaaS (Software as a Service) company offering web-based employee compliance products to small and mid-size businesses. Prior to this, Scott held the position of Vice President of Finance and Vice President of Human Resources and Procurement for a $100 million high growth privately-held plastics manufacturer. Previously, Scott spent five years as the Financial / Administrative Manager for Reynolds Metals, an aluminum can manufacturer. Scott has a B.A in business economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Evon Hernandez

Senior Media Manager

Evon has 15+ years in the advertising industry. Evon spent several years of her career with the in-house media buying agency for Sleep Train Inc. where she managed multiple brands within the organization. During that time, she played an integral role in developing annual marketing plans, executing media buys and other consumer outreach programs. Looking to expand her knowledge of the industry from the other side, Evon made a move to Hearst Television and Digital Sacramento where she sold multiple television stations in addition to Hearst’s digital portfolio. Evon has a B.S. in Marketing from Southern New Hampshire University.

Laura Van Alstine

Senior Media Manager

Laura has 25+ years in the advertising industry. Laura started as a Broadcast Coordinator/Junior Buyer at Western International Media and has never looked back. She worked her way up from Media Buyer at Carat/ICG, followed by Media Buyer at Quantum Media International to Broadcast Supervisor at TN Media where she supervised client accounts such as Taco Bell and Subaru, as well as a team of buyers. When TN Media was purchased by Interpublic Group she found herself back amongst some of the same people she had worked with at Western International Media so many years before. Laura’s continued journey went on to working at LCI/McCann Erickson as a Senior Market Specialist and then PHD Media as a Broadcast Supervisor for nearly 15 years. During her time at PHD she supervised various accounts such as The California Lottery, Mercedes, Google and Electrify America, as well as numerous theater accounts including Serino Coyne, Center Theater Group and Harry Potter. Laura’s path finally brought her to Mighty Media Partners where she is proud to work with some of the best people on the planet! In Laura’s spare time she works with Friends In Deed which serves the homeless population in her hometown of Pasadena, CA and spends time enjoying her new grandbabies.

Rich Korach

Senior Media Manager

Rich is approaching 20 years in the advertising industry. He is a highly skilled and dynamic media professional with extensive experience in numerous product categories and mediums. Originally from Michigan, Rich started his career at Blair Television before transitioning to Doner Advertising on the agency side. In 2008 he moved to San Francisco and joined UM as a Senior Media Buyer where he was their technology super-user. His background includes radio, spot TV, cable, OTT, and programmatic media for general market and multi-cultural markets. Extensive experience in numerous categories including automotive, retail, banking, and entertainment for clients such as Fiat-Chrysler, Coca-Cola, CVS, and Mastercard. Rich earned his undergraduate degree at Michigan State University where he majored in advertising.

Sheri Nelson

Promotions Manager

Sheri has 25+ years of experience in marketing and promotions. She began her career in Bay Area radio and was responsible for marketing campaigns, on air contesting, community partnerships and more. She produced a multitude of events ( KFOG KaBoom (2007-2010), Giants Fanfest (2009-2015), The Bridge to Bridge Run/Walk (2009-2015)) while creating meaningful relationships with sales, marketing, programming, community relations and various public officials. Her media knowledge and expertise and knowledge of the inner workings of a promotions department are what make her a valuable asset to all of MMP’s clients.

Veronica Hayes

Media Coordinator

Veronica’s background in sales and marketing provides helpful insights to her work as a Media Coordinator. She began her media career in Sales at iHeart Radio but moved to media buying side of the business and never looked back. In her previous positions with Mattress Firm and Sleep Train, she worked with multiple mediums in a variety of markets as both a Media Assistant and also Junior Media Buyer. For the past 20 years she has volunteered time with Foster Kids programs and activities and her skills at project management are part of what makes her a vital part of the MMP Team
